The Hollywood Entertainment District is a 10-year Business Improvement District that stretches along the world-famous Walk of Fame and spans historic Hollywood Boulevard, from the La Brea Gateway on the west to the Hollywood (101) Freeway on the east. Many of Hollywood's famous landmarks are located in the HED - the epicenter of the entertainment capital of the world and birthplace of the movie industry.
| KCET, California's independent public television station, aired a segment on it's "SoCal Connected" program highlighting both sides in what they call the Battle of the Boulevard. In addition to footage and interviews with costumed characters, Kerry Morrison of the Hollywood Entertainment District speaks about the issues related to the street characters and vendors. |
