The Hollywood Entertainment District is a Business Improvement District that stretches along the world-famous Walk of Fame down 18-blocks of historic Hollywood Boulevard, from the La Brea Gateway to the corner of Hollywood & Vine, and beyond. Many of Hollywood's most famous landmarks are located in the HED - the epicenter of the entertainment capital of the world and birthplace of the movie industry.

Hail-A-Taxi Pilot Program... You can now do as the New Yorkers do and hail a cab in Hollywood! Our very own Kerry Morrison joined Councilmembers Perry and Greuel to celebrate the official kick-start of the six-month pilot program during a July 31 press conference. The new program allows taxi drivers to load and unload passengers in some otherwise restricted curbside areas of Hollywood and Downtown, bus zones aside.  Hail-A-Taxi PIlot Program
